RE-IMAGINING NGO INFRASTRUCTURES

Towards a new spatial production in Za'atri refugee camp

AYA MUSMAR

This research looks specifically at Jordan's largest refugee camp of Za'atri where Syrian refugees have found shelter from the war in their country. Through addressing the dialogue between aid and development, I aim to uncover the intangible infrastructures in a refugee camp and how this forms its physical materiality. I will also focus on on a pedagogical infrastructure and communal learning within the camps as a radical approach to change.
